One of the main public Viewing areas during the World Cup in South Africa is the Melrose Arch Emporium in Johannesburg. The outdoor area with a live stage and performing acts every day tends to be crowded with more than 3,000 people regularly. An HK AUDIO Cadis System with 8 CAD 208 mid/High units per side and four IL 118 Subs is in use as the main PA system, powered by HK AUDIO VX 2400 amps and DSM 2060 controllers. Each four P:RO 10 XA and F.A.S.T cabinets serve as self-powered stage monitors. Several P:RO 12 A and P:RO 15A cover the Univision broadcasting area. For those who don't find a space outside there is also an inside area with a total of ten HK AUDIO ConTour Array CTA 208 mid/high units and CTA 118 Subs in use.
David Myers, product specialist of South African HK AUDIO distributor Tedelex Pro Audio: "It's a great showcase for our products here and everybody, promoters, fans and artists are happy about the sound and performance of the systems."
