The LINEAR 9 118 Sub BA is a powerful, dual-vented 18″ bandpass subwoofer. Thanks to its generously dimensioned cabinet, it delivers high sound pressure levels and particularly deep bass reproduction. This makes it the perfect partner for powerful full-range systems.

LINEAR 9 is the new flagship of HK Audio’s LINEAR family and offers a scalable, powerful solution for professional sound reinforcement. It impresses with high sound pressure, long throw, and easy remote control via remote software.
Robust enclosures with PU coating and high-quality components guarantee reliability in tough touring conditions. Developed for rental companies and event organizers, LINEAR 9 combines first-class acoustics, modern Class D amplifiers, professional connections, and long-lasting quality “Made in Germany.”
Scalable
The LINEAR 9 210 LTA can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of requirements thanks to horizontal cluster formation. The two versatile subwoofers also allow for a variety of setup options. This demonstrates the system’s technical and economic scalability in every application.
Fully networked with DSP Control software and Milan network capability
All speakers in the LINEAR 9 series can be conveniently controlled from the FOH position using the free HK Audio DSP CONTROL software, available for Mac and PC. The software offers, among other things:
Fully parametric 10-band EQ
Adjustable high- and low-pass filters
Delay, limiter, mute, invert, and volume control
Preset management
Since May 2025, MILAN audio network capability can be retrofitted via a free update.
Unique DSP OUT – breathe new life into your old speakers
Integrate speakers without their own network capability into your setup and equip them with HK Audio DSP power. This allows existing cabinets to be seamlessly integrated and fully controlled via the DSP CONTROL software.
Professionally wired
The LINEAR 9 series loudspeakers can be easily connected to the computer running the DSP CONTROL software via daisy chain. Robust EtherCon sockets ensure a reliable and secure connection throughout operation.
