LINEAR SUBS are system subwoofers that work perfectly with the LINEAR 3 and LINEAR 5 mid/high units.

The system subwoofers all have a stereo input, so in addition to half-stack or full-stack applications, they can also be used as a 2.1 system or mono-summing sub-cluster.

We recommend the following combinations to achieve the ideal ratio between the mid/high unit and the subwoofer:

LINEAR SUB 1500 A and LINEAR SUB 1800 A with the LINEAR 3 mid/high units,
LINEAR SUB 1200 and LINEAR SUB 2000 with the LINEAR 5 passive mid/high units and
LINEAR SUB 4000 with the LINEAR 5 LTS powerhouse.

LINEAR SUB 1500 A

LINEAR SUB 1500 A is a 15″ bass reflex subwoofer and a real powerhouse in a small package. A powerful punch, precise playback and an impressive low end all the way down to 45 Hz make this active sub the ideal add-on for the LINEAR 3 mid/high units when dynamic and tight bass is required. It can also be used with LINEAR 5 mid/high units or as a bass extension to the ELEMENTS EASY BASE, SMART BASE and LINE BASE systems.

LINEAR SUB 1800 A

The LINEAR SUB 1800 A is an 18″ bass reflex subwoofer with plenty of low end. Unbridled power, high sound pressure of up to 132 dB and thumping bass all the way down to 38 Hz make this active sub the ideal add-on for the LINEAR 3 mid/high units when you really need a little more depth and loudness. It can also be used with LINEAR 5 mid/high units or as a bass extension to the ELEMENTS BIG BASE system.

LINEAR SUB 1200

Compact, lightweight system subwoofer in a bass reflex cabinet. It is ideal for band systems and makes for powerful subwoofer stacks when paired with the active Linear Sub 1200 A. The two 10″ woofers deliver fast and precise bass with plenty of punch and low bass down to around 45 Hz.

LINEAR SUB 2000

The LINEAR SUB 2000 is designed as a sixth-order double bandpass and is the perfect add-on for the LINEAR 5 mid/high units. It delivers deep and punchy bass in the 50-120 Hz range. It contains two 12″ long-throw woofers with a 2.5″ voice coil, including a modern cooling system and a double damper for extremely precise control.

LINEAR SUB 4000

LINEAR SUB 4000 is a powerful 18″ dual vented bandpass subwoofer. It is compatible with all LINEAR 5 full-range speakers and mid/high units and delivers an impressively powerful low-frequency response from 30 to 100 Hertz. The subwoofer is the recommended extension to the LINEAR 5 LTS long-throw powerhouse. It can be used as a subwoofer extension to the existing LINEAR SUB 2000, delivering powerful low bass with optional frequency separation. Filter presets for Lab.Gruppen IPD and PLM 12K44 controllers are available.
