VORTIS 2 is a series of high-performance speakers

SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR DEMANDING INSTALLATION APPLICATIONS
All VORTIS 2 Series products feature an internal passive crossover. The frequency response corrections are made via DSP filters, which are available both as preset files and in open table form.
 
VORTIS 2 is particularly suitable for applications where high-quality music and speech transmission is required in addition to (voice) alarms in compliance with current standards. To this end, all models are certified under EN 54-24:2008 (type B, outdoor use).

All VORTIS 2 models are also optionally available in an outdoor IP 55 version (protected against dust and water jets).

The VORTIS 2 family’s high maximum sound pressure levels ensure that the necessary speech intelligibility can be achieved even in environments with high noise levels.

The VORTIS 2 series has everything required to meet all the requirements of such integrated applications: a wide range of models, extremely neutral sound reproduction characteristics and variable directivity.

A wide range of accessories is available for integrating VORTIS 2 speakers on-site, including rotatable and tilting U-brackets, anchor points with quick-release pins and plates for cluster arrangements.

EASE and EASE Focus 3 GLL and CLF data are available for each model or cluster variant to ensure the actual transmission characteristics and speech intelligibility can be planned precisely.

Select models are equipped with a high-quality, integrated 100/70 V transformer. All other models can be equipped with an external transformer for operation with commercially available voice alarm systems.
