Curved Column technology delivers precise sound distribution

Inside the column element, six 2.5-inch neodymium midrange drivers operate in a specially developed Curved Column arrangement. This innovative design ensures even sound distribution with wide dispersion angles of 120° horizontally and 45° vertically. The result is clear and uniform sound coverage even in acoustically challenging environments, low-ceilinged rooms or with an audience positioned in various locations. Speech intelligibility and sound quality remain at the highest level even at close range.

Powerful bass in a compact format

The integrated 8″ subwoofer delivers impressive and precise bass performance. Its metal-reinforced, low-resonance plastic enclosure minimises unwanted vibrations and ensures a tight, controlled low-frequency response – ideal for music, presentations and DJ applications.

Powerful Class D amplifier

An integrated 1,200-watt Class D amplifier ensures maximum dynamics. It offers high power reserves combined with low weight and high energy efficiency. As a result, the POLAR 8 MK2 guarantees distortion-free and balanced sound reproduction even at high volumes.

Intelligent sound control with new Contour control
A particular highlight is the newly developed Contour control. This allows for seamless adjustment of the sound between the DJ, Music and Voice presets. This allows the system to be optimally adapted to any application and individual sound preferences.

High-resolution DSP for maximum sound quality

An integrated 24-bit DSP ensures precise digital signal processing and exceptional sound fidelity. This technology is complemented by a multiband limiter that intervenes specifically only in critical frequency ranges. As a result, the overall sound remains stable, balanced and natural even at maximum volume, without audible distortion or pumping effects.

Integrated mixer for maximum flexibility

The POLAR 8 MK2 features an integrated 3-channel mixer with two mic/line inputs and an aux/Bluetooth channel. Microphones, instruments, DJ equipment or external audio sources can be connected directly, meaning that in many applications, no external mixer is required.

Bluetooth streaming and True Wireless Stereo

Thanks to Bluetooth 5 audio streaming, the system provides a stable, high-quality wireless connection. Using True Wireless Stereo (TWS), two POLAR 8 MK2 units can be paired wirelessly and operated as a true stereo setup without any additional cables.

Well-thought-out design for mobile applications

In addition to its sound performance, the POLAR 8 MK2 impresses with its high practicality for everyday use.
