The C SUB CS 218 is a compact, direct radiating 2 x 18" subwoofer, the ideal low-end addition to the  As with the smaller CS 118, the dimensions are based on the standardised pallet or truck dimensions. The high efficiency and extremely high power handling capacity provide an extraordinarily large dynamic headroom down to the lowest frequencies. The total of four Speakon NL4 connectors are fully through-connected, and the pin assignment switch can be used to assign the CS 218 to one of the two speaker paths. There are two Speakon NL4 connectors at the back and two at the front, making the cabling of cardioid setups quicker and easier to implement. The powerful Lab.Gruppen PLM+ or Powersoft X Series power amplifiers are recommended for use with the CS 218. Optimised filter settings are also available for these controller amps for creating Cardioid or Endfire arrangements. The birch multiplex cabinets are PU-coated, while the solid steel front grille features an anti-corrosive, powder-coated finish. The Speakon input sockets are protected against the ingress of dirt and moisture by sealing caps. All in all, the C SUB CS 218 has all the prerequisites for long and uninterrupted operation in the rough everyday rental business.
