FINEO is the new HK Audio product family for the daily business of professional indoor fixed installations. FINEO offers many detailed solutions, is uncomplicated to use with high sound quality, solid mounting accessories and easy integration.

Based on feedback from installation professionals with many years of experience, many product features were implemented for FINEO that guarantee easy integration in practice. The broad product family consists of five passive Mid/High-units and five subwoofers, available in black and white as standard. Sophisticated and extensive accessories offer simple and safe solutions for all conceivable installation scenarios.

New formats, maximum flexibility

The FINEO loudspeaker series, rethought from the ground up, offers features and formats that are particularly important and in demand for modern installations. Like the coaxial 5″/1″ compact speaker FO 5 and the flyable subwoofers FO S112 F and FO S118 F. The powerful, rotatable tweeters are familiar from the professional touring mid/high unit CONTOUR CX 8.

Easy integration and comprehensive documentation

A standardised VESA hole pattern is available as standard on the rear of all FINEO Mid/High-units. Inside the enclosure, this is supported by generous steel reinforcements. In addition to the new, sophisticated FINEO accessories, installation material from third-party suppliers can also be used, which greatly accelerates and facilitates integration into existing systems. 

DSP presets for Lab.gruppen IPX and LEA Professional as well as filter sheets for many other DSP platforms are available in the download area. Simulation data in GLL format for EASE and EASE FOCUS 3 are also available, as well as detailed installation instructions, tender documents and many other details on all products. 

Accessories – comprehensive, clever, robust and safe 

The FINEO series offers the right accessories for the most diverse, even unusual, application scenarios. From finely adjustable U-brackets to 360° brackets, pan and tilt brackets to tripod mounts and L-brackets – there are hardly any limits to the ideas. And all this with maximum safety, perfectly tailored to the FINEO speakers. The VESA hole pattern on each top unit means that installation material from any third-party manufacturer can also be used.

Ball impact-proof

All FINEO speakers are ball impact-proof as standard. They thus meet the strict requirements of the German standard for sports facilities (DIN 18032-3). The enclosures are extremely robustly built. Massive protective grilles and additional steel reinforcements cope with even the greatest mechanical demands.

Mid/High-Units

FINEO FO 5

The ultra-compact, cube-shaped FO 5 features an innovative coaxial 5″/1″ transducer with 110° dispersion, in which the silk dome tweeter uses the shape of the woofer cone as a wave guide. This makes it particularly suitable for close listening distances and ideal for use as a delay speaker in larger rooms for front sound reinforcement or nearfill at the edge of the stage in fixed installations. In combination with the S112 (F) subwoofer, it grows to full size and offers a powerful full-range sound reinforcement solution that will please even the most discerning ears. In addition to nearfield monitoring at lecterns, other areas of application include high-quality hospitality or background sound reinforcement as well as unobtrusive placement in exhibitions, for elaborate immersive audio applications with many sources or simply for use by Power Hi-Fi enthusiasts. With its extensive range of accessories, the FO 5 can be quickly and safely installated in all standard applications, but can also handle more specialised requirements with ease. 

FINEO FO 8

The compact FINEO FO 8 is designed as a passive 2-way system and has a modern, ultra-slim and space-saving trapezoidal cabinet. With its 8″ cone speaker with 1.75″ voice coil, the FO 8 provides a solid foundation for speech or near-field sound reinforcement and balanced mids in combination with the S112, S118 or S218 subwoofers. The BEM-optimized constant directivity horn with the powerful 1″ compression driver, which is well-known from the CONTOUR X series, specially developed for the rough and tumble of touring, has a dispersion angle of 80° x 60° and thus delivers a large sound area without causing excessive acoustic excitation on the walls or ceilings. The horn can be rotated, meaning that the FO 8 can be used upright, on its side or with altered horizontal and vertical dispersion. The compact speaker can therefore always be positioned optimally, even in small or architecturally complex rooms. 

FINEO FO 10

If you’re looking for compact dimensions and balanced sound with crystal-clear HF and expressiveness in the mid and lower frequency ranges without compromise, the FO 10 is a perfect choice. The combination of a 10″ woofer with a 1.75″ voice coil and the rotatable constant directivity horn from the CONTOUR X series, which was developed for the rough and tumble of touring, with a powerful 1″ compression driver, results in an assertive full-range solution for speech and music. With a dispersion angle of 80° x 60°, the horn can be rotated by 90°, allowing the speaker to be used upright, lying on its side or suspended on its side with optimum dispersion in any situation. The FO 10 is an assertive system speaker that works perfectly with the S118 or S218 subwoofers, delivering rich and precise mids.

FINEO FO 12

In this newly fine-tuned speaker system, the proven standard format with a 12″ low-frequency woofer and a high-resolution 1″ high-frequency driver, provides the ideal compromise between achievable sound pressure and low colouration in the reproduction of all types of music and speech. The BEM-optimized constant directivity horn with the powerful 1″ compression driver comes from the CONTOUR X series, which was developed for the rough and tumble of touring. With a dispersion angle of 80° x 60° and the ability to rotate 90°, it always delivers the optimum dispersion pattern whether it is used horizontally or vertically. In combination with subwoofers such as the S118 or S218, the result is a very powerful system that can reproduce modern music styles at a high level without any restrictions. The FO 12 can also be used for larger venues, provided that further-away areas of the room are boosted with delay speakers (e.g. with the FO 5, which can be installed unobtrusively). 

FINEO FO 15

With its 15″ woofer with 2.5″ voice coil, the FO 15 offers the fullest bass foundation and is the most powerful speaker in the FINEO product family without compromising on flexibility. The constant-directivity horn with powerful 1″ compression driver is well-known from the CONTOUR X series developed for everyday touring. With a dispersion angle of 80° x 60° and the ability to rotate 90°, the speaker can be operated upright, lying on its side or suspended on its side for optimum dispersion. The FO 15 is particularly effective in larger rooms or in applications requiring high sound pressure levels, offering crystal-clear, assertive sound with a solid bass foundation in full-range applications for all types of speech and music. Combined with the S118 or S218 subwoofers, the result is a system with a powerful midrange and bass for use as the main sound system for music and karaoke, in clubs or in sports venues. 

Subwoofer

FINEO FO S112

Very compact subwoofer with 12″ woofer, 2.5″ voice coil and 50 Hz tuning frequency. Ideal low-end support with powerful bass and high sound pressure as a system subwoofer or surround LFE for installations with compact speakers like the FO 5. Easy to integrate in environments with limited space. The cable feed-through on the rear, with cut-outs to the left, right or bottom, allows cables to be routed close to the wall, meaning the subwoofer can be placed against the wall without gaps. A secondary grille protects the bass reflex port from accidental or deliberate insertion of foreign objects. A ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3 is provided for installations in sports facilities. 

FINEO FO S112 F

The FO S112 F is the flyable version of the extremely compact FO S112 subwoofer. With its 12″ woofer with 2.5″ voice coil and 50 Hz tuning frequency, it makes the ideal low-end support with powerful bass and high sound pressure as a system subwoofer or surround LFE for installations with compact speakers like the FO 5. Installation is simple and secure with the optionally available U-bracket or AP-8 attachment points. Four M8 threads on the side and four M8 threads on the top are available for mounting. For aesthetic reasons, the FO S112 F does not have the cut-outs for cable routing or rubber feet. A secondary grille protects the bass reflex port from accidental or deliberate insertion of foreign objects. A ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3 is provided for installations in sports facilities. 

FINEO FO S118

Particularly powerful and high-impact subwoofer with 18″ woofer and 3″ voice coil. Voluminous bass even for larger rooms and when the sound requires more noticeable boost in the lowest frequency ranges. The optimal complement for larger systems with FO 10, FO 12 and FO 15 loudspeakers. Despite the large membrane area, the FO S118 is compact and easy to integrate into various ambiences. Cable routing close to the wall is facilitated by the milled openings on the back. A secondary grille protects the bass reflex port from accidental or deliberate insertion of foreign objects. A ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3 is provided for installations in sports facilities. 

FINEO FO S118 F

The FO S118 F is the flyable version of the particularly powerful FO S118 subwoofer. The 18″ woofer with a 3″ voice coil provides voluminous bass even for larger rooms and when the sound requires more noticeable boost in the lowest frequency ranges. The FO S118 F is an optimal complement for larger systems with FO 10, FO 12 and FO 15 loudspeakers. Despite the large membrane area, the FO S118 is compact and easy to integrate into various ambiences. Installation is simple and secure with the optionally available U-bracket or AP8 attachment points. Four M8 threads on the side and four M8 threads on the top are available for mounting. For aesthetic reasons, the FO S112 F does not have the cut-outs for cable routing or rubber feet. A secondary grille protects the bass reflex port from accidental or deliberate insertion of foreign objects. FINEO FO S218

Deeper, louder, stronger. With its two 18″ woofers with 3″ voice coils, the FO S218 is the most powerful subwoofer in the series and offers the deepest frequency response. The ideal complement for the FO 12 and FO 15 in stereo, 2.1 or surround systems. The subwoofer can be placed upright or on its side and offers a milled cable duct to the bottom, left and right for cable routing close to the wall. The front is protected by a full-surface grille, which is supported by solid reinforcements on the inside. This makes the FO S218 suitable not only for use in sports venues (for which a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3 is provided), but also for “wild” club and concert environments. 

Accessories

FINEO FO 5 U-bracket

The FO 5 U-bracket can be used to mount an FO 5 speaker on a ceiling or wall. The bracket is easily installed using two screws on the sides of the cabinet, with which the desired tilt angle can also be continuously adjusted. The central 10 mm hole on the U-bracket allows mounting on microphone or table stands, which is particularly practical for nearfill or monitoring applications. The FO 5 U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. 

FINEO FO 8 U-bracket

The FO 8 U-bracket can be used to mount a FO 8 speaker on a ceiling vertically. The bracket is easy to install on the top and bottom of the cabinet by hanging it into hook openings. The tilt angle can be adjusted in 15° increments. This means the speaker can be installed quickly and by just one person. The FO 8 U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. 

FINEO FO 10 U-bracket

The FO 10 U-bracket can be used to mount a FO 10 speaker on a ceiling vertically. The bracket is easy to install on the top and bottom of the cabinet by hanging it into hook openings. The tilt angle can be adjusted in 15° increments. This means the speaker can be installed quickly and by just one person. The FO 10 U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. 

FINEO FO 12 U-bracket

The FO 12 U-bracket can be used to mount a FO 12 speaker on a ceiling vertically. The bracket is easy to install on the top and bottom of the cabinet by hanging it into hook openings. The tilt angle can be adjusted in 10° increments. This means the speaker can be installed quickly and by just one person. The FO 12 U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. 

FINEO FO 15 U-bracket

The FO 15 U-bracket can be used to mount a FO 15 speaker on a ceiling vertically. The bracket is easy to install on the top and bottom of the cabinet by hanging it into hook openings. The tilt angle can be adjusted in 10° increments. This means the speaker can be installed quickly and by just one person. The FO 15 U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. 

FINEO FO S112 F U-bracket

With the S112 F U bracket, the flyable FO S112 F subwoofer can be mounted to a ceiling. The FO 112 F can also be tilted at a slight downward angle to allow foreign objects or liquids that may enter the bass reflex port to easily fall out or drain away. The FO 112 F U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. Test statistics for operation over an audience can be provided if required. 

FINEO FO S118 F U-bracket

With the FO S118 F U bracket, the flyable FO S118 F subwoofer can be mounted to a ceiling. The FO S118 F can also be tilted at a slight downward angle to allow foreign objects or liquids that may enter the bass reflex port to easily fall out or drain away. The FO S118 F U-bracket is made of high-strength steel and covered with a powder coating. Just like the speaker, the U-bracket also has a ball-impact resistance certificate in line with DIN 18032-3. Test statistics for operation over an audience can be provided if required. 

Swivel and tilt wall mount S (VESA MIS-D)

The swivel and tilt wall mount S (VESA MIS-D) can be used to mount a FO 5, FO 8 or FO 10 speaker on a wall. Together with the swivel and tilt bracket, the speaker can be continuously rotated horizontally and tilted vertically in 10° increments from 0° to 30°. The swivel and tilt wall mount S is attached via the VESA hole pattern (MIS-D) on the back of the speaker. 

Swivel and tilt wall mount L (VESA MIS-E)

The swivel and tilt wall bracket L is used to mount a FO 12 or FO 15 speaker on a wall. The bracket allows the speaker to be rotated continuously horizontally and tilted vertically in 10° increments from 0° to 30°. The swivel and tilt wall mount L is attached via the VESA hole pattern (MIS-E) on the back of the cabinet. 

FINEO FO 5 Adapter plate (VESA MIS-D)

The FO 5 adapter plate has a row of punched holes to convert any number of mounting points on the back of an FO 5 speaker. The 360° rotatable BM-360 ball mount can be attached to these, always at the optimum wall distance, which ensures maximum flexibility when installing an FO 5. 

BM-360

With the 360°-rotatable bracket BM-360, a loudspeaker such as the FINEO FO 5, can be installed on a wall, ceiling or surface.The tilt angle can be adjusted continuously on all axes to ensure perfect alignment of the loudspeaker even in difficult environments to ensure perfect alignment of the speaker even in architecturally difficult environments. 

SF-35

The SF-35 allows a FO 8, FO 10, FO 12 or FO 15 loudspeaker to be used on a standard 35 mm speaker stand. The SF-35 sleeve is simply screwed onto the underside of the cabinet. This allows the speaker to be locked to the stand without tools by means of an easy-to-operate locking screw. 

FINEO FO 5 L-bracket

The FO 5 L-brackets can be used to install an FO 5 speaker in a wall or ceiling. The speaker is screwed in from behind and can be installed to a depth of up to 75 mm. For best acoustic results, the speaker should be installed flush with the wall or ceiling. The FO 5 L-brackets are supplied in pairs for installing one FO 5 speaker. 

BWH-1

The BWH-1 wall bracket offers the possibility to mount a speaker with a 35 mm flange on a wall. This allows for flexible speaker placement on the wall bracket. The adjustable 30 cm arm with backstop can be rotated up to 120° and tilted by max. 45°. 

HK Audio AP-8

The AP-8 attachment point set can be used to fly the FINEO mid/high units FO 8, FO 10, FO 12 and FO 15, as well as the FO S112 F and FO S118 F subwoofers flyable subwoofers. AP-8s have an anti-rotation device and can be attached to the M8 mounting threads of the speakers. The single item can be used as a secondary safety when mounting a loudspeaker. The set of 3 is always used for the flown installation of a mid/high unit. The set of 4 can be used to install the flyable FINEO subwoofers (FO S112 F and S118 F).
