Basílica del Voto Nacional in Quito

The Basílica del Voto Nacional is the largest neo-Gothic church in the Americas, presenting significant acoustic and architectural challenges due to its dimensions of approximately 140 meters in length, 35 meters in width, and 30 meters in height.

A sound reinforcement system was designed and installed to meet the specific requirements of the Congregation of Oblate Fathers. The installation is based on HK Audio SI Series loudspeakers, comprising 28 × SI SERIES P10i TR and 4 × SI SERIES P10j TR units.

The system provides focused coverage and high speech intelligibility throughout the expansive interior, ensuring clear transmission of spoken word and music across all areas of the basilica.
