Zeusaudio relies on HK Audio for 360° sound at the Electronic Wine Festival in Koblenz
On June 14 and 15, 2024, against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kaiserdenkmal (Imperial monument) and accompanied by the finest wines of the region, the audience experienced an unforgettable open-air festival at the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. The Electronic Wine.
Embedded in the program of the renowned Koblenz Wine Festival, the tip of the Deutsches Eck was transformed into a stage for electronic music, offering everything from relaxed partying to exuberant dancing. A mix of internationally celebrated DJs and regionally and nationally known artists thrilled the guests alike.
Balanced 360° sound reinforcement with HK Audio CONCERT SOUND
For this unique open-air experience, Zeusaudio, under the direction of Christian Klotz, relied on professional sound reinforcement solutions from the HK Audio CONCERT SOUND family. The open-air event placed the highest demands on the loudspeaker systems, which were designed to deliver an impressive, immersive experience to the audience.
The challenge was to design a 360° sound system that would provide even coverage of the dance floor. With their homogeneous sound and clearly defined, even dispersion, the CONTOUR X series loudspeakers were the perfect choice.
Cardioid for safety at the turntables
With the help of specially adapted cardioid presets, a clear and interference-free reproduction from the turntables could be achieved, despite the subwoofers positioned around the DJ booth. This allowed the DJs to present the sound of their vinyl treasures with peace of mind, without having to worry about failures or damage to the records.
The Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, a popular open-air venue, impresses with its unique acoustics and open design. Thanks to HK Audio’s extensive expertise, an extraordinary sound experience was created that thrilled visitors, artists and organizers alike.

- Subs: 10x CS218, 32x CS118
- DJ monitoring: 6x COSMO 8, 2x CS118
- Amplification: 7x C-Drive 8 with 14x LAB groups PLM+12k44 for mains and subs, as well as 1x C-Drive 4 with 1x Powersoft X4 for DJ monitoring
