VORTIS 2 and SI SERIES at Ahorn-Sportpark Paderborn

The installation of a public address and voice alarm system with products from the VORTIS 2 and SI SERIES product families was completed at the Ahorn Sportpark in Paderborn (Germany).

With a total area of 100,000 m², the spacious area offers sufficient space for 30 types of sports and provides a contact point for more than 30 sports clubs.

The indoor sports hall has several ball game areas that can be used in parallel, climbing walls, squash courts, dance floors, weight rooms and a unique indoor circuit that runs over the game areas.

The entire sound system was designed in accordance with VDE 0833-4 (German national standard) and ensure – in addition to the alarm function required by building law – a very high-quality and absolutely seamless sound reinforcement of the hall with speech and music.

After the system was measured and tuned on site by the HK Audio Application Engineering Team, the new sound system now provides all users of the Ahorn Sportpark with first-class ambient conditions from an acoustic point of view.

Use during competitions and “somewhat louder” sporting activities can be underlined with audio quality at a high level.
