Flexibility

The C SUB subwoofers offer a total of four Speakon NL4 connectors (two at the rear and two at the front for easy cabling, for example in Cardioid or Endfire setups). The desired signal from a four-wire cable can be assigned to a C SUB using the pin assignment switch.

Both the CS 118 and the CS 218 are perfectly matched in their frequency and phase response, as well as in their cabinet dimensions. This makes it possible to effortlessly combine them to form perfectly tuned clusters.

Mechanics

The birch multiplex cabinets are PU-coated, while the solid steel front grilles are treated with an anti-corrosive finish. The Speakon connection sockets are protected against the ingress of dirt and moisture by sealing caps. All in all, the C SUBs offer all the prerequisites for high value retention and long, uninterrupted operation in the rough everyday conditions of professional users.

Efficiency

We recommend the high-performance Lab.Gruppen PLM+ or Powersoft X series power amps for use with these high-power subwoofers. Optimised filter settings are also available for these controller amps for creating Cardioid or Endfire arrangements.
