POLAR 8 MK2
In the column section of the POLAR 8 MK2, six powerful 2.5-inch neodymium drivers arranged in a curved column configuration deliver impressive sound. Thanks to the generous dispersion angle of 120° x 45°, the sound is distributed evenly even in challenging or low-ceilinged rooms – for both standing and seated audiences. This ensures that listeners in the front rows also enjoy clear and balanced sound reproduction.
POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2
The POLAR MK2 column impresses with crystal-clear sound quality and state-of-the-art technology. Six particularly lightweight and powerful 3-inch neodymium midrange drivers housed in a low-resonance aluminium profile ensure detailed, natural reproduction of vocals and instruments. This is supported by a precise 1-inch tweeter with a constant-directivity horn, which enables a wide sound dispersion of 120 degrees – ideal for uniform sound coverage of the entire audience.
The newly developed connector guarantees a secure, simple connection between components. Even when positioned low, for example without spacers, the POLAR MK2 delivers optimal sound dispersion – perfect for smaller events or low stages.

POLAR 8 MK2
The lightweight, metal-reinforced plastic enclosure is specially reinforced to minimise unwanted resonance and ensure a dry, precise bass response. The compact 8-inch subwoofer also impresses with its ease of handling and high transportability – ideal for flexible use.
POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2
Instead of relying on artificial filtering, the new design harnesses genuine physical advantages: a sturdy, voluminous wooden cabinet minimises resonance and, in combination with high-performance long-throw woofers, delivers clear, tight bass with impressive depth. Compared to the classic POLAR series, the subwoofer offers greater bass reserves in a more compact design. Conveniently placed recessed handles make transport easier, and a padded protective cover is included. An optional trolley is available for even greater convenience.

The more compact POLAR 10 MK2 already offers everything users could want from a column system. POLAR 12 MK2 is the perfect solution for DJs who rely on powerful, deep sound in continuous use. Thanks to its generously dimensioned cabinet and powerful 12″ woofer, the POLAR 12 MK2 delivers exactly the extra bass that real low-frequency fans love. The POLAR 12 MK2 is also the first choice for live bands with drums and acoustic sets with cajon – uncompromising, powerful and impressive in sound.

All POLAR systems can be expanded with subwoofers from the SONAR series (SONAR 115 Sub D), allowing them to grow in line with requirements. For example, with the POLAR 12 MK2 in a stereo setup and two SONAR 115 Sub Ds as an extension, sound can be provided for up to approx. 350 people.

Technology in detail – the features of the POLAR MK2 series
Aluminium column profile
The mid/high units of the POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2 are housed within a sturdy, low-resonance aluminium profile. This ensures minimal cabinet resonance, distortion-free sound reproduction even at high volumes, and a premium look and feel. The redesigned connector between the subwoofer, spacer and column ensures a firm, secure connection. The signal path is protected against impacts and short circuits.
The slim design of the POLAR 8 MK2 has been developed for maximum portability.
High-quality design – also available in white
The column and the more compact subwoofer enclosure form a harmonious, modern design concept. All POLAR MK2 systems are also available in white – ideal for stylish events and weddings.
Flexible column configuration
The POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2 can be set up with or without spacers. This makes them ideal for use as monitor systems or on low stages. The wide dispersion pattern ensures even sound coverage for standing or seated audiences.
Flexibly expandable system
A POLAR MK2 system is already a complete PA system. For larger coverage areas, two systems can be combined to form a stereo setup. The bass response can be enhanced with additional SONAR 115 Sub D subwoofers.
Bluetooth 5.0 and True Wireless Stereo (TWS)
Two POLAR MK2 systems can also be paired wirelessly to deliver true stereo sound via Bluetooth. The connection is stable and offers a long range for modern, wireless audio streaming.
Built-in mixing console
For many applications, no external mixing console is required.

Two versatile channels with XLR/jack combo sockets for microphone and line signals, plus a stereo AUX input (RCA) for DJ equipment or MP3 players, including Bluetooth audio.
POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2
Two microphone/line channels with XLR/jack combo sockets, a high-impedance instrument channel and an aux channel (also for Bluetooth) cover virtually all applications. A master volume control with level indicator allows for centralised volume control.
Phantom power for microphone inputs
The two microphone inputs on the POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2 feature switchable phantom power. This allows high-quality condenser microphones to be used to realise the full sonic potential.
USB-C charging port
A USB-C port on the control panel of the POLAR 10 MK2 and 12 MK2 supplies power to smartphones, tablets or wireless microphone receivers. This ensures a power supply for mobile devices without the need for a separate power supply unit – ideal for long sessions.
Professional DSP tools
The integrated 24-bit DSP ensures high dynamics, transparency and detail in every situation. A multiband limiter keeps the sound balanced and punchy even at maximum volume by specifically processing only those frequency ranges that are reaching their limits. This ensures that the overall sound remains even, natural and free from pumping or distortion, even under full load.

The intelligent Contour control (DJ / Music / Voice) enables precise sound tuning for every application – from powerful music sets to clearly intelligible voice broadcasts. Thanks to its continuous adjustment, much finer adjustments are possible than with conventional presets.

Presets for all applications
Three sound modes (Music, Voice, DJ) and five storable user presets enable quick and customised sound tuning. A 3-band master EQ with semi-parametric midrange controls and a system delay adjustable in metres allow for precise adaptation to the room acoustics.
Easy and safe to transport – everything included
Every POLAR MK2 system comes with a padded carry bag for the column elements and a protective cover for the subwoofer. A trolley is available as an optional extra.
